The Forlong & Maisey group of companies was founded in 1946 with the establishment of Forlong & Maisey Ltd by Charles Forlong and Bob Maisey. Forlong & Maisey Ltd developed a robust reputation for providing high quality metal processing services to the automotive and dairy industries in the Waikato and Bay of Plenty regions. HMF engineering was acquired in the early eighties adding medium engineering to their areas of expertise.
